• Rights to The Disengagement Ring have been sold to Blanvalet Verlag in Germany.

• Keris Stainton over at fabulous book blog Five Minutes Peace chose The Disengagement Ring as one of her top ten books of the year. 
• I won a Pink Thong Award for Most Promising Author in the Chicklit Club Awards.

November 2009 

• November is NaNoWriMo month.  If you haven't heard of it, NaNoWriMo is short for National Novel Writing Month.  It takes place in November each year, and it's a challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in a month.  People from all over the world sign up to do it.  The idea is to just keep writing, focus on the word count and don't go back to edit anything in November.  It's a lot of fun and it can be a very freeing exercise for your writing.  All sorts of interesting things can happen when you sit back and let them!  I did it for the first time last year, and even though I didn't make it to the 50,000 words I stil found it really inspiring.
